Social Security Disability Claims
You have worked hard all your life. A portion of each paycheck has paid for Social Security Disability Insurance. But when illness or injury leads to a disability, the Social Security Administration turns you down. At Oxford Law PLLC we have over forty years of experience in helping disabled Texans obtain the Social Security benefits they are entitled to.
Social Security law is a complex set of rules and regulations. Your age, your work experience and your medical conditions all come into play. Do not make the mistake of hiring an out of town lawyer or “non attorney representative” that does not understand you and your case. You will meet us in person. We will get to know you. We will learn everything we need to know about you and your situation to give you the best chance for success.
If you have been turned down for Social Security Disability benefits call us for a free consultation at 409-727-7711.
Widow’s Benefits
If you did not pay enough into the Social Security system to qualify for benefits, you may be able to obtain benefits based on your spouse’s contributions to the system. In addition to showing, you are disabled you will also need to show a marriage of at least ten years and you must be over the age of fifty. We have the expertise to help you in this often-frustrating process.
Supplemental Security Claims (SSI)
If you have not paid enough into the system to qualify for Social Security Disability, you may be eligible for Supplemental Security Income (SSI). In addition to evaluating your disability, the Social Security Administration will also look at both your household income and assets to determine if you qualify for this program. We can guide you through this process.
